They carry the weight of grievances in their hearts,
Yearning for an end to unjust behavior.
They hear the cries of their hungry children,
Assuring them that brighter days will come.
Day and night,
They seek food, shelter, and work tirelessly,
Gathering scraps of clothing to keep their little ones warm in the winter nights.
By day, they plead for help,
Yet too often they are met with indifference.
Mocked for their tired faces,
Told they should have done more.
But a few see beyond the weariness,
Recognizing the depths of their need.
Only the kind-hearted Samaritans offer compassion and support.
The Almighty answered their prayers but a lot are still in agony.
They are still crying for a better life.
proverbs 19:17
He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.
