Faithful Love

There are days when living for You feels hard,

When I think of leaving, retreating,

Going back to the life I once knew.

Days when I placed You on the cross again,

When I turned away, ignoring Your voice.

I cried out, yet the silence echoed,

Doubt crept in, and I questioned Your ways.

I wanted to walk away—

Yet something held me, something called me back.

Your rod of discipline shaped me,

Your voice silenced my fears.

Your grace endured beyond my failures,

Your mercy never wavered.

You could have cast me aside,

Yet You whispered, “I have plans for you.”

And in my brokenness, I found love again—

A love that keeps no record of wrongs,

That holds no grudges,

A love so deep it grants countless chances.

When darkness surrounded me, You remained,

Calling me Yours.

You chose me when I couldn’t even face myself.

When the world threw names at me, You called me beloved.

You comforted me, embraced me, restored me.

I met a Man who never let go,

A love so jealous yet so pure.

And His name? Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The only begotten Son,

Sacrificed by the Father—for me, for us.

This is love—unshaken, unwavering, eternal.

This is Faithful Love.
