Persecuted

We are all Christians right? Or so we thought. Happy to have given your life to Christ, you run home expecting everybody to be happy for you. To your suprise, no one is.

You anxiously start thinking, "maybe i made a mistake".

But the truth is, just as John 3:3 says, "unless one is born again they shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

So what do I do now? " you ask. Do I hold on to this new found life or do I let it go in order to please men?

Whispers of their evil plans begin to reach you. They want to arrest you, beat you and kill you.

Beloved, there's a reason why both salvation and suffering start with the letter "s".

If they persecuted your Master then what of you the servant? A servant is not above His master.

What of hope you ask?

Do not grow weary for persecutions produce perseverance.

He said we should count it as joy when we suffer for his sake, for He knew that this course was worth suffering for. For your reward is greater than your suffering.
