Return, O Prodigal

Updated: Apr 7, 2025

How long will you wander, lost in the night?

How long will you chase what dims His light?

You call it freedom, yet chains still bind,

A feast before you, but hunger behind.

How long will you stray from your Father's embrace,

Chasing the world, yet finding no place?

How long will you silence the voices that call,

Turning away as you stumble and fall?

Your spirit is restless, shattered in pain,

Your soul is homeless, lost in the rain.

He speaks in the silence, in dreams through the night,

Calling you back to step into His light.

He sees your wounds, He knows your scars,

He knows the ones who have left you marred.

Yet mercy still flows, unmeasured, untamed,

His love remains—unchanged, unchained.

Oh, my soul weeps as I watch you roam,

A child of the King yet so far from home.

The arms of the Father are open still,

Waiting for you to surrender your will.

Let the King of Glory enter your heart,

No sin too heavy to keep you apart.

Pick up His Word, let Him hear your voice,

Return, O prodigal—make Him your choice.

Erwin, I pray that you come back home, what I see🥹💔❤️
